The FMRIB Centre is a multi-disciplinary neuroimaging research facility, which focuses on the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for neuroscience research, along with related technologies such as Brain Stimulation and EEG. FMRIB is composed of research groups in all aspects of brain imaging research, including physics, analysis, basic science and clinical neuroscience. FMRIB Scientists are involved in a number of major international imaging projects, such as the USA Human Connectome Project and UK Biobank Neuroimaging, as well as multi-site clinical trials such as FAST Indicate. Within the FAST Trial, FMRIB scientists have designed the neuroimaging protocols and are responsible for aspects of quality control, data processing and analysis.
